1. Show Dates, Hours & Locationback to top

    The 2018 New England Food Show will be held February 25-27th, 2018 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.

    Show Hours (Attendee Access):

    • Sunday, February 25th: 10:00 am-5:00 pm
    • Monday, February 26th: 10:00 am-5:00 pm
    • Tuesday, February 27th: 10:00 am-3:00 pm

    Exhibitor hours for move-in, move-out, and show dates can be found in the Show Information section of the Exhibitor Service Kit.

  2. Show Policy & Age Requirementsback to top

    No one under 18 years of age, including infants and toddlers, will be permitted on the Show floor at any time regardless of affiliation or circumstances. NRA reserves the right to request proof of age. No children, infants, no strollers, no backpack carriers are allowed. No exceptions. This rule applies to exhibitors and attendees.

  3. Booth Informationback to top

    Included in your booth:

    • 8 ft high back draping plus 3 ft high side divider drapes (except Islands and Peninsulas which receive 8 ft high drape in the middle 10 ft of their backwall and 3 ft high drape on the sides)
    • ID sign with company name and booth number
    • General overhead lighting
    • Sanitary dishwashing and handwashing facilities
    • Company listing in NEFS Show Guide and the NEFS website
    • Unlimited customer invitations for FREE registration

    Design Regulations:

    There are no exceptions to any of the NEFS Exhibit Design Regulations. This is to protect the integrity of the Show and create a fair environment for all exhibitors. Click HERE to view the regulations. Island & Peninsula floorplans are due for Show Management approval by Janurary 9th, 2018 and can be submitted here.

    The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout meeting rooms, lobbies, and expo halls. If you are relying on the internet to showcase your product or services, we strongly recommend ordering wired connection.

    The Exhibitor Service Kit is now available in the Exhibit section of the website. It is divided into five sections: Show Information, Rules & Regulations, Food & Beverage Information, Shipping, and Official Service Providers. Each section contains helpful information, required documentation for exhibitors, and the links to order products & services for your booth.

    Downoad the Exhibitor Checklist from the Show Information section of the Service Kit to track deadlines and save money by ordering services in advance of the discount deadline.

  7. Official Service Providersback to top

    Visit the Official Service Provider section of the Exhibitor Service Kit for a full list of NEFS 2018 vendors and their order forms. These vendors have Show Management approval to offer their products and services to NEFS exhibitors.

    Beware of fraudulent vendors. We do not sell our database information; any company not listed in this section of the Exhibitor Service Kit should be considered as possibly fraudulent.

  8. Food & Beverage Sampling Requirementsback to top

    Visit the Food & Beverage Information section of the Exhibitor Service Kit if you are sampling food or beverage product at the Show. Exhibitors sampling their food or beverage products at the Show are required to submit two forms by January 9th, 2018.

  9. Registrationback to top

    Each exhibitor receives five (5) complimentary exhibitor badges per 10’x10’ booth. For example, a 10’x20’ booth will receive up to ten (10) free badges. Additional badges are available for purchase.

    Exhibitors receive unlimited complimentary customer invitations to share with current and prospective clients. Hard copy invitations have been mailed to each exhibitor.  There are also multiple ways to share these invitations digitally under the "Invite Buyers To Your Booth!" tab on the registration website. Login to the registration website to access your custom promotional code and more information on how to distribute it.

    Registration is now available in Exhibitor Services. Log in with your Company Password and click "Registration Services". Contact nefsexhibitorservices@restaurant.org or (312) 853-2525 for help with your Company Password or the exhibitor invitation program.

    NEFS Official Show Housing is available now. Book your hotel room through our official service provider, onPeak.

  11. Parkingback to top

    Exhibitors may park in the South Parking Lot at the BCEC. Shuttle service runs between the South Parking Lot and Hall A. When the South Parking Lot becomes full, parking will be available in the Channel Center garage across the street. A shuttle will be available to those who park in the Channel Center garage that will drop off at Northeast Level Zero.

    Parking passes are available for purchase on the Signature Boston website.

Exhibitors can unload next to the loading docks by using Option 1 from the Shipping Options & Instructions document, Self-Unloading via Personally Owned Vehicle.

  12. Certificate of Insuranceback to top

    General Commercial Liability Insurance is required of all exhibitors. Certificates of Insurance should be available upon request in your booth onsite.

    Liability and Insurance – All property of the Exhibitor is understood to remain under its custody and control in transit to and from the Show and while it is in the confines of BCEC. Neither Show Management, the Official General Services contractor, the management of BCEC nor any of the officers, staff members or directors of any of the same are responsible for the safety of the property of Exhibitor’s from theft, damage by fire, accident, vandalism or other causes, and the Exhibitor expressly waives and releases any claim or demand it may have against any of them by reason of any damage to or loss of any property of the Exhibitor.

    Show Management does not maintain insurance covering Exhibitor’s property. It is required that Exhibitor maintain general public liability insurance against claims for personal injury, death or property damage incident to, arising out of or in any way connected with the Exhibitor’s participation in the NEFS, in an amount no less than $1,000,000 for personal injury, death or property damage in any one occurrence.  Such insurance shall name the NRA and the NRAS as additional insureds on the general liability policy. Each Exhibitor is required to carry workers compensation insurance protecting employees in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Exhibitor acknowledges that it is responsible for obtaining, for its protection and entirely at its expense, such property insurance for its exhibit and display materials as the Exhibitor deems appropriate.

    Your Certificate of Insurance should list the National Restaurant Association as the certificate holder. The following should be listed as Additionally Insured: Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and GES.
