A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, Molly began her professional career while in school, as a host at Eastern Standard. After graduation, she moved into floor management, learning the elements of service, which led to her next role, as a Guest Relations Manager, in which she oversaw Eastern Standard’s marketing and social media efforts, while also identifying opportunities for the restaurant to be active in the Boston community. Most recently, as Director of People, Molly guides recruitment and hiring across Garrett Harker’s growing group of restaurants in Kenmore Square and beyond, ensuring the strategy around people operations aligns with continued business development.

Specific topics include the challenges and advantages in staffing extremely busy suburban restaurants; the experiences and strategies as they relate to a medium-sized restaurant group in the Boston area; and the nuances of staff retention in a large multi-unit regional chain.
