In his position as Director of Government Affairs for the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA), Stephen manages day-to-day advocacy, lobbying and policy development for the organization. And while his focus is federal, state and local regulations, he also monitors the latest requirements, trends and developments impacting operators.
 
Prior to joining the MRA, Stephen worked as Legislative Staff to the Assistant Majority Leader in the Massachusetts State Senate. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Join Steven Clark, along with NRA’s Jon Simons and James Demers of Demers & Blaisdell, Inc., as they discuss the importance of actively engaging with lawmakers to protect the restaurant industry. The session will highlight all levels of engagement—from participating in Restaurant Roundtables with lawmakers, to writing/calling legislators, to publicly speaking on legislative measures—in which restauranteurs can politically engage on a local level.
