Basic Show Information

What are the dates and location of the 2019 Show?

The New England Food Show will be held March 3-5, 2019, in Hall C at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, Boston, Massachusetts.

What are the show hours?

New England Food Show Hours:
Sunday, March 3: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, March 4: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 5: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Exhibitor hours for move-in, move-out, and show dates can be found on the General Information section of the Exhibitor Service Kit.

Show policy & age requirements

No one under 18 years of age, including infants and toddlers, will be permitted on the show floor at any time regardless of affiliation or circumstances. The National Restaurant Association reserves the right to request proof of age. No children, infants, no strollers, no backpack carriers are allowed. No exceptions. This rule applies to exhibitors and attendees.

Booth Information

What is included with my booth?

  • 8 ft high back draping plus 3 ft high side divider drapes (except islands and peninsulas which receive 8 ft high drape in the middle 10 ft of their backwall and 3 ft high drape on the sides)
  • ID sign with company name and booth number
  • General overhead lighting
  • Sanitary dishwashing and handwashing facilities
  • Company listing in NEFS Show Guide and the NEFS website
  • Unlimited customer invitations for FREE registration

Design Regulations

Design Regulations

There are no exceptions to any of the NEFS Exhibit Design Regulations. This is to protect the integrity of the Show and create a fair environment for all exhibitors.

Island & Peninsula floorplans are due for Show Management approval by January  11th, 2019 and can be submitted by filling out our form.

Payment Information

How do I pay for my booth?

Current exhibitors may view/print the most up-to-date invoices and pay their deposit/balance via credit card by going to “My Account” in Exhibitor Services. You will need your company password which can be found on your confirmation agreeement and invoice.  If you can’t find it, please contact your sales representative or call (312) 853-2525.

NOTE: The balance due reflects booth space only and does not include outstanding balances with any other contractors.
If you are paying by credit card we accept all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card).

    • Complete your contact information, social media links, product categories, press release, show specials, and individual product information that will post on the website and mobile app.

    • Make a payment and view/print a copy of your invoice.

    • Register your booth staff personnel using your complimentary allotment of exhibitor badges.

The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout meeting rooms, lobbies, and expo halls. If you are relying on the internet to showcase your product or services, we strongly recommend ordering wired connection.

The Exhibitor Service Kit is now available in the Exhibit section of the website. It is divided into five sections: General Information, Regulations and Guidelines, Food & Beverage Sampling Information, Shipping, and Official Service Providers. Each section contains helpful information, required documentation for exhibitors, and the links to order products & services for your booth.

Official Service Providers

Visit the Official Service Provider section of the Exhibitor Service Kit for a full list of NEFS 2019 vendors and their order forms. These vendors have approval from Show Management to offer their products and services to NEFS exhibitors.

Beware of fraudulent vendors. We do not sell our database information; any company not listed in this section of the Exhibitor Service Kit should be considered as possibly fraudulent.

Food & Beverage Sampling Requirements

Visit the Food & Beverage Sampling Information section of the Exhibitor Service Kit if you are sampling food or beverage product at the Show. Exhibitors sampling their food or beverage products are required to submit two forms by January 11th, 2019.

Exhibitors may park in the South Parking Lot at the BCEC. Parking passes are available for purchase on the building services website.

Unloading Materials to Your Booth

The Shipping Section of the Exhibitor Service Kit contains information on how to unload your booth materials at NEFS.

Exhibitors driving in with booth materials can self- unload next to the loading docks by using Option 1 from the Shipping Options & Instructions document, Self-Unloading via Personally Owned Vehicle or from the parking lot by using Option 5- Parking & Hand Carry. Please review the Shipping Options & Instructions document to ensure your vehicle qualifies for self-unloading.

Certificate of Insurance

General Commercial Liability Insurance is required of all exhibitors. Certificates of Insurance should be available upon request in your booth onsite.

Liability and Insurance – All property of the Exhibitor is understood to remain under its custody and control in transit to and from the Show and while it is in the confines of BCEC. Neither Show Management, the Official General Services contractor, the management of BCEC nor any of the officers, staff members or directors of any of the same are responsible for the safety of the property of Exhibitor’s from theft, damage by fire, accident, vandalism or other causes, and the Exhibitor expressly waives and releases any claim or demand it may have against any of them by reason of any damage to or loss of any property of the Exhibitor.

Show Management does not maintain insurance covering Exhibitor’s property. It is required that Exhibitor maintain general public liability insurance against claims for personal injury, death or property damage incident to, arising out of or in any way connected with the Exhibitor’s participation in the NEFS, in an amount no less than $1,000,000 for personal injury, death or property damage in any one occurrence.  Such insurance shall name the NRA and the NRAS as additional insureds on the general liability policy. Each Exhibitor is required to carry workers compensation insurance protecting employees in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Exhibitor acknowledges that it is responsible for obtaining, for its protection and entirely at its expense, such property insurance for its exhibit and display materials as the Exhibitor deems appropriate.

Your Certificate of Insurance should list the National Restaurant Association as the certificate holder. The following should be listed as Additionally Insured: Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and GES.



Each exhibitor receives five (5) complimentary exhibitor badges per 10’x10’ booth. For example, a 10’x20’ booth will receive up to ten (10) free badges. Additional badges are available for purchase.

Exhibitors receive unlimited complimentary customer invitations to share with current and prospective clients.  There are multiple ways to share these invitations digitally under the "Invite Buyers To Your Booth!" tab on the registration website. Login to the registration website to access your custom promotional code and more information on how to distribute it.
